I’m sure there are some scammers out there, like in any business, but there are also a lot of legitimate businesses out there looking for good people. I myself hire 6 full time VA’s on a monthly basis. (going on 9 months now). Its a great way to build a workforce.

The VA is a great work-at-home job in theory but it just seems like these types of jobs or rather the companies advertising them are scams or you have to come up with too much money and they actually don’t offer you anything such as real leads so you’ve basically wasted money you don’t have!!!!!!!!

I know about VA and online administrative work. The thing is, its too difficult to find legit sites where they hire VA. I’ve tried odesk but I usually end up applying for bogus employers. Can anyone post legit sites? Thanks.

I first heard about virtual assistants from the book 4 Hour Work Week and it was a cool concept. However, I imagine the prices have since climbed a bit. That’s good for those becoming VAs and not good for bloggers requiring services. Is there a generally accepted fees-for-service schedule for VAs?

With widespread use of internet and more and more people willing to work from home, the scope to earn as virtual assistant will increase a lot. The employer will also get their work done for a low cost and they are not to keep employees on their pay roll.
Can you please provide some good and reliable sites where one can work as virtual assistant? It would be a lot of help for the first timers.

Really amazing idea. Married women like me can enjoy both office work at home and the home work too. It seems tension free too. I have good educational backgrounds and I think it can be put into use more effectively and efficiently by this way.

I never though about becoming a virtual assistant im glad I read this. The best part is I can work from home and never have to worry about a 40 hr week job again.
