This one is a good way to make money, but make sure you research a bit more than just asking the scrap yard what they accept. A great example is scrap cars. A lot of people just hull them in as is, some scrap yards deduct for the tires on the car, and the fluids need to be drained (oil, gas, trans fluid, coolent, etc). Also if you seperate the high priced metals from the tin you will profit much more.

A friend took in a Lumina and got something like $230 with doing nothing to the car except hulling it in. When I hulled in the exact same car about a year ago, I got around $400. It pays to seperate the metal!

It is good idea to collect scraps from neighbours and making them free from desposing themself as many do not know what to do with it, and more over their spaces are occupied due to scrap.

ya. its very useful idea.I was able to take a lot of the leftover metal and wiring to my local scrap yard. Quick way to make money,i am also collecting metal cans and gave them to a local store.this idea is really good.

Really cool idea man!!all the previous ideas were about on-line jobs which i hate because i think they over use us for less money.This idea is really cool.I actually used to try this during my teens mind it i got over Rs.500 from a single collection.That is equivalent to $10 but it was enough for me to enjoy the whole day in my own full effort!!!

i am also collecting metal cans and gave them to a local store for acquittal.
its not so much money but for me as a student it is great.

I have to vouch personally for this one. We recently did some renovations to our house. I was left with what I thought was a big mess and I was going to simply call to have it taken to the dump. Instead, I was able to take a lot of the leftover metal and wiring to my local scrap yard. Quick way to make money! I now often stop by others houses that I know and ask if I can haul away some of their “junk”!
