Surveys are definitely good for people to start making money with. One thing people need to keep in mind is that you won’t get rich, and the amount you earn will be dictated by the demand for surveys in your country. Here in NZ we get maybe 50cents for a ten minute survey. So don’t believe all the hype about earning hundreds of dollars a month with surveys.
Yes, online surveys are a great way to make some extra money on the internet.
You won’t get rich doing these online paid surveys but at least you can make some extra pocket money.

I have taken surveys for money, particularly when I was more of a newbie to the internet and I can say I had fun at times but I really did not make much money.
This is something worth trying if you have time to spare and you know of no better way to use it from a financial standpoint.
Indeed, most surveys will pay you only a few bucks and they might consume half or even a full hour, so they are not always a very profitable option.
The best ones are those where you are asked to evaluate a product by getting a free trial, because you can get paid between $5 and $15 for maybe 15 minutes of your time.
The problem is that you have to be careful which free trials you get into (avoid anything with physical deliveries), and also to cancel them before the next billing date.
On the other hand, these “good ones” are not what you will find more often, so you cannot expect to make a steady income out of this, but maybe a quick buck to buy a shirt or something like that.
Surveys can be great if you want extra income. I used to take them during my coffee breaks and lunch hours to fit in with my lifestyle. Luckily I don’t need to do that these days as I make a full time living online but I will always be grateful for them at the time.

I have never believed in making money online with surveys. Are they really worth right now? I think people need to start learning about affiliate marketing so they can change their mind.
Good ways to make money online (as you mentioned in other posts):
- Affiliate marketing
- Blogging
- PPC
- Google adsense (yes, there are still people earning a lot of money with adsense and guess how? With quality and authority websites).
Is there any paid survey site available for indonesian people ?
I would have to agree. Surveys are a great way to make some good money online, but there are still better ways. I think that a combination of efforts is always the best approach.

yeah, first time i had made money online was with online surveys. that was bit easy and intrested.

how to they get the money to you, just though the mail? can it go through paypal?
man, I sure wish they had this stuff when I was in high school. I would’ve had tons of income from doing this kind of stuff. Of course, how much is it worth per hour in pay doing surveys? Anyone have a true realistic estimate? $10, $20 or more?

Just when I was only a few dollars away from the cashing out limit, the survey website I thought would actually honor their word and pay me if I reached the limit had increased the limit by 10 dollars.

Surveys really never worked for me because it takes to long to really get the money you want to make you have have to work all day it seems to actullay bring in the money that can feed a family.Ever since i been a online marketer working like a serious business man i really never had to turn to surveys.

This is a good way to make money and I am currently using this. With the money I make from these programs I invest and make daily compound interest. Best of all I havent spent a penny of my own money. Check out my website if you would like to do the same.

I’ve been doing survyes for about a year and a half now and have actually cashed out almost $1000. I’ve also received tons of products to try from various companies. It’s great to give out my opinions and get a little spending money in return. I never get spam because I sign up for the marketing sites individually, after having read all of their policies. I’ve put together a list of my most profitable sites on my blog, check ‘em out if your interested in joining some.

I have been taking surveys for a site I truly believe in because I have never gotten spam, they send lots of products such as diapers, dog food, shampoo & conditioner, body soaps, vitamins, etc. as well as conduct short surveys that actually pay. If anyone is interested, they can email me their email address at KdTodd@gmail.com so I can send them an invitation. The site does not allow spamming so there is no “link to click” and is conducted by invitation from existing members only.

Its true surveys are a way to make money but so is recycling pop cans. It really should be doing surveys can help give you some pocket change the way they have it saying a way to make money makes you think a decent cash flow and this is really not the case. I would say it would be best for kids who live at home and want to buy some candy at the store so they do a few surveys over the week to pay for it.
I like surveys as a way of making money except there are not enough out there to really do much. Another thing is when you take surveys the time you spend is usually to much for the pay. I would love to see surveys that paid well like ten bucks or something worth while it would be fun and enjoyable and most of all worth while.

Informative article on paid online surveys. In fact I have been doing online surveys for the last 2 years and could make a bit of money as well. But the sites to which I do surveys do not pay very attractively, probable with an exception of Survey savvy. Being in India, I dont have too many options either. Great post on surveys online and I had to learn about joining surveys the hard way. I joined most free survey sites at one time and it is hard trying to make money from them. I suggest joining one survey site and pay attention to making money from that site and once you do then join another. From my experience, I suggest you take your time and find out what works best.

Most, if not all, survey sites will only let you cash out your account if the account balance has reached the site’s minimum balance required for cashing out, which is often in the double-digit range. One huge problem, you can never reach that amount without buying the products and/or the services.
So, there is always a catch in these surveys, and there is no free lunch even though you may think giving them 15 minutes of your time to fill out the survey is giving something.

Let’s be realistic, these so-called survey sites are nothing more than marketing schemes, where you get points, prizes or minimal cash, for filling out trial offers.

hello, this is a GREAT site and I liked it a lot, it’s right to the point. This is a good option, but I am very skeptical about it, I’m sure there is a catch. Have you yourself tried this option, what is the amount of money you can get monthly? maybe working an hour or two a day except weekends.

I am member in some of the survey making sites like globaltestmarket, survey savy, etc. What i felt is that these survey websites are mostly for US, UK, Canada users only and only people in those countries make more money. As far as other international countries are concerned, they can only make little money form survey sites. Because these survey sites concentrate on US, UK, Canadian user only.

I have made a few bucks filling out surveys on the internet over the years. Some are pretty interesting too. I like the ones about new products. Some even let you preview commercial concepts before they air. Most just ask a few questions about your opinions or spending habits.
