I’d have to agree, but in the end people will do whatever makes them money. Google IMO force webmasters into doing a lot of “bad” things that don’t help the internet as a whole. ie the only way to get traffic to your site is to get lots of links. It doesnt matter how good your content is if nobody knows about it. 99% of the time the cream does NOT rise to the top without a great deal of self promotion.So webmasters are forced to flood the internet with anything they can to get links, cheap crappy articles, baseless press releases, link farms, etc etc. None of it holds any value, but its pretty much the only way (other than pure luck) to get your site to rank well.
I for one would much rather spend my time giving value. But google doesn’t reward that as much.

Thaks for great making money ideas ( not just this one, but all of them)!
Writing articles are either a means to an end to promote a blog and get it more “out there” or an ends in itself (blog posts or articles in exchange for cash.)
At $5 per post, and being able to sell it only once, assuming it takes a good half hour to an hour to write and article if not more – that is $5-10 an hour. Not good for most of us, save the high school or college crowd – then it’s great! So the income here is a bit relative.

Over the past twenty years or so, of reading the morning herald’ i’ve noticed the decline of top quality writers available. Yes there are many, however in the quality and uniformaty bracket’ i see none. Have they all died? Besides the point, i am not a writer’ nor am i deciding to take it up. Just a small tip for the wannabe’s’ if you’re going to do it, be good at it. Consistent rubbish is better than one or two knock outs! Think i’ve change my mind, i may leave my toilet cleaning job at start a real career. Thanks!
