I knew this way before.
I’m a multi-talented person. I can play 2 instruments, sing, songwrite, screenwrite, write poetry, write comedy/mystery plays. Draw,paint.
and more talents that i have.
And I was thinking of getting a site up and going, with my own music and Art too. But the thing is like you said, if I sell one of my music and I get money from it. It might become no.1 hit, then i would get no pay from it. So yeah, you’re quite right. This is the reason I have no dam clue, on what to do with my own music. Because I want to become something but I dont know how to become something. Since, you’d need a huge income to pay the record company, + for them to video shoot you. So you’d need around, 100-200k? I think or more lol..

if only the record companies were like olden day. So like we go to them and show them the song and lyric. Then they could decide whether to accept us or not.

Hip hop is my life, man. It’s my dream to someday be producer. My family’s on some hard times though. People with money usually get a head in life. Though some cats from da hood.
True true on that. Makes me think about my fave rapper Mickey Factz who has got his raps is crackin!
A couple of my friends and I have been working on lyrics and what not for a while and I think we may have some pretty good stuff. Fist I started out with my friend Zach Elam and we wrote mainly funny songs that werehn’t so serious. But then I got in tight with my buddy Joseph McClain and I started to get more serious with my lyric writing. I don’t believe yet that I have the capacity to be professional, but with time, that could be possible. Also, I don’t just write rap (mostly though), I also write like metal (heavy or screamo stuff) stuff and mostly other comedy stuff, but it’s mostly rap. The Marines have also tried to recruit me seeing that it’s my senior year in high school and I’m not 100% on that, but I’ve been attending PT’s with annually. I would actually prefer to go somewhere with my friends and take our music to greater-and-great heights, but we’re not that talented with the whole music and music writing itself and I’m not known best for remembering half the stuff that I write down. I think Zach is the same way, but Joseph can freestyle like nobodies business even though he’s white. I think though if we had the right connections we could really go somewhere. What I’m saying i guess is that i would like to learn how to do all of this. Well, my friends and I. Preciate it.
i am really good with writting lyrics, i may not be able to sing them but i was just wonding how do i get artist to sing my songs??

ummm, for what purpose?
I write allot of lyrics, and I am a great writer since I do it
for work writing technical documents in the software industry.
I have also been involved in the music industry and have played
guitar for quite along time. So I can also write rudimentary
structures but I am not a composer. So how would I get started
selling lyrics etc. to a third party?
